As the years quickly pass us by and I watch my little girls grow they are slowly turning into: D I V A S! All 3 LOVE fashion, with 3 very unique styles. My middle child can put together anything and make it grand. It's sad when I walk into a 5 yr old's room to get approval for my day's attire. My biggest complaint on her personal shopping is her lack of knowledge of "deals", sales racks do not exist in her vocab., but her eye for fashion is very keen. She walks into a store and spots an outfit without batting an eye. As soon as she puts it together she's ready to move on to the next, no pondering, just get it and last go!
I share this to say: before kids I stepped out looking "cute", then I had children and I would step out looking like a freight train hit me. Now, I'm back and feeling great about it. The funds are not there to shop and buy the numerous pair of shoes, pants, etc. like I once did, but I realize with a few essential accessories I can turn anything into something "grand." Not only do I feel good about myself, but my husband loves it and so do my girls.
Who are the most important people to make happy? Yourself, your mate and your family. So, to all my fellow ladies: Take the extra 5 mins and put on those little accessories. Even with sweatpants a great pair of shades will make you stand out!
